Here's an extremely rare record album titled ASPECTOS de la CULTURA INDIGENA (Aspects of the Indian Culture). This is an original private pressing released by the Colombian Anthropological Center of Mission in August, 1968. Includes a 4-page booklet with notes in Spanish, English, German, and French. *** Music, song, and voices from the natural scenery of the Columbian jungles with the participation of: Guajiros, Yucos, Catios, Bari or Motilones, Arwacos, Sibundoyes, Ingas, Witotos, Paez, Tunebos and Catios (Cholos) of Saija. *** Tracks include indigenous instruments and music from festivals, marriage ceremonies, ritual songs, children's songs, etc., as well as narratives of legends, prayers, sounds, a ritual prayer to recover from the effects of the Pilde, a plant which sharpens hallucinations, and more. It reminds me of an album by Alvin Curran titled "Fiori Chiari, Fiori Oscuri". Cover is in its original this plastic wrap with a few edge scuffs. Vinyl looks fantastic. I may have been the first to play it. Insert is excellent. Overall NEAR MINT to NEAR MINT MINUS condition. Free shipping in the U.S.. International rate will vary.
