ザ・マッカラン M 2020エディションは、ザ・マッカランの製品の中でも最もダークな味わいで、10樽以下の希少でかけがえのないウイスキーです。
シェリー樽で長期間熟成されたことにより、シングルモルトの深みと陰影に磨きがかかりました。 エキゾチックなフルーツとスパイスの豊かな香りが、深い色合い完璧なほど、まろやかな味わいに仕上がっています。
デーツ、イチジク、ジンジャーナツメグから、ねっとりとしたデーツ、ベイクドアップル、オレンジオイル、ダークチョコレートの味わい。
バニラファッジと濃厚なオークの風味が広がり、温かみのあるウッドスパイスが広がり、ジンジャーとレーズンの余韻が長く続きます。

この蒸溜酒は、美しいクリスタルデキャンタに収められています。
1888年創業のフランスガラス界の巨匠、ラリック社の代表作。 6つのファセットは、光を反射し屈折させ、ダークなウイスキーに命を吹き込みます。
彼らのインスピレーションは、6つの柱、すなわち、ザ・マッカラン エステート、スペイサイド最小のポットスチル、樽へのこだわり、シェリー酒、ナチュラルカラー、熟練の技に由来しています。

色：リッチアンバー
香：デーツ、イチジク、ジンジャーナツメグ、ベイクドアップル、バターペストリー、アニスシード、ファッジ。 アンティークオーク、フレッシュタバコ、微かなナッツの香り。
味わい：ジンジャーとナツメグが混ざり合い、ねっとりとしたデーツ、ベイクドアップル、オレンジオイル、ダークチョコレートと変化していきます。 バニラファッジと濃厚なオークの風味が一瞬現れた後、ウッドスパイスが微かなココナッツの香りとともに戻ります。
余韻：温かみのあるウッドスパイスに、ジンジャーとレーズンの余韻が長く続きます。

Darkness into the Light
The Macallan M 2020 limited release, among the darkest of The Macallan outturns, shines a light on a rare selection of fewer than ten, irreplaceable casks.
Prolonged contact with sherry oak has burnished a deep and brooding single malt. Its rich chord of exotic fruit and spice flavour notes is mellowed to deeply hued perfection.
Aromas of date, fig and ginger nutmeg lead into sticky date, baked apple, orange oil and dark chocolate on the palate.
Vanilla fudge and a rich oak flavour come through before warming wood spices open up to a long-lasting ginger and raisin finish.
Enigmatic Characters and Rich Heritage
The spirit is presented in a flawless crystal decanter. Individually numbered, it is the expert work of Lalique, doyen of French glass making since 1888.
The six facets of the decanter reflect and refract light, dancing the dark whisky to life.
Their inspiration stems from The Macallan’s six defining pillars, namely, The Estate, our Curiously Small Stills, Exceptional Oak Casks, Sherry Wine, Natural Colour and Mastery.
Together, they underpin the renowned quality and rich character of our whisky.
The Experience
Colour：Rich Amber.
Nose：Date, fig, ginger nutmeg, baked apple, butter pastry, aniseed and fudge. Antique oak, fresh tobacco and light nuttiness.
Palate：Ginger and nutmeg dance over the tongue before giving way to a medley of sticky date, baked apple, orange oil and dark chocolate.
Vanilla fudge and a rich oak flavour come through fleetingly before the wood spices return with a hint of coconut.
Finish：Rich warming wood spices in a long lasting ginger and raisin finish.
