Originally broadcast: October 30, 1938, on CBS Howard Kochapos;s adaptation of H.G. Wellsapos; "The War of the Worlds." Parts of these recordings may contain some scratches or surface noise. This is not a defect of the recording, but the condition in which this transcription survived. The original discs were stored, borrowed, shuttled around or discarded. Only because of a variety of misplacements, fortunate accidents and persistent collectors do these discs survive, and those that have done so can differ greatly as to quality and condition. Record was Tested as EX condition. Cover was Graded as EX condition. All used records are taken out of original outer and inner sleeves, new inner sleeve is used if needed, then put in a plastic outer sleeve, sandwiched between 2 cardboard pieces and packaged in a 13 x 13 x 1 - 4 inch box.
