Up for sale, a 1980 Star Wars Luke Skywalker: X-Wing Pilot action figure, mint on the original 21G cardback. This is the very first cardback offered with the Empire Strikes Back text, a transitional cardback that still shows only the 21 figures released in the original Kenner Star Wars line. The card sits very flat save for an absolutely fractional amount of downward curvature above the bubble. The original price sticker is still intact and cleanly placed in the upper righthand corner.The cardback has bold, unfaded graphics, with just a couple tiny veins near the punch and to the right of the bubble on the face of the card, and two minor veins on the back of the card, one in the corner with the price sticker, and the other telegraphing the top edge of the bubble. There is also one small scuff on the edge of the cardback through the graphics. The bubble is perfectly clear and factory sealed on all edges, with two dings on the upper corners.
