Clean, bright, has been stored in dust insect proof container out of sunlight, never subjected to smoking. Box shows only very light storage wear on extreme edges.

With the concept for Preferable Pink started in 2007, this lovely doll hit the market with a storm in 2008 into the Barbie Fashion Model Collection. This stunning line of dolls began in 2000 and each gorgeous doll was designed primarily for the adult barbie connoisseur collector. She is also a stunning member of the Gold Label Series. No more than 12,100 sequentially numbered 'Preferably Pink' Barbie Dolls exist in the whole wide world! All of the dolls in the Barbie Fashion Model Collection are also part of the larger Silkstone line with bodies made of a quartz, resin, and sand material blend designed specifically to resemble porcelain rather than plastic or vinyl. This material is easy to clean and is practically unaffected by temperatures and sunlight. Thanks to the nature of this incredible material, the lines of the body are clearer, and the sculptors were able to make fine toes and fingers more detailed and elegant. These ultra-fine embellishments make for stunning lifelike detail. The creators used the original 1959 Barbie face as a model for all of the dolls in the Fashion Model Collection, so all will honor and resemble the ultimate classic Barbie! 'Preferably Pink' was designed by Robert Best who created hundreds of Barbies for various collections such as the Hollywood and Vintage lines. This Barbie also belongs to another delightful, thematic group created by Mattel called "Parisienne Sketchbook." Other Barbie dolls in this group include "Toujours Couture" and "Je Ne Sais Quoi." The Chanel inspired gold button pink tweed boucle jacket on this doll is tailored precisely to give you a peek of her cream-colored blouse, which is accented with pearl buttons up the front, at cuffs, and topped with a bow tied at the neckline. The matching wrap skirt hits just below her knees, and features side fringe and gold button detailing to match the jacket. The box is her original packaging and in excellent condition with only spotty minor wear on the extreme edges and corners. Barbie has never been removed from it......she is in her original placement with the original ties and tissue wrap. A stand made just for her is included in the box. The beige tissue with the gold weighted ribbon and slide tag are fully intact without tears.....just lifting them and putting the paper to the side gives you full view of this utterly stylish Barbie! The back of the box has the Limited Collection label intact. Stunning Doll in Original Packaging - Never Removed From Box - this Best of Barbie will be a crown jewel in your collection! It has been carefully stored since it's purchase out of sunlight and in a sealed container so dust and insects could not enter. There are no offensive odors, and it has never been subjected to any kind of smoking.
