オーガニック綿を日本でネップ糸に紡績し、織りあげた布帛素材を使用したジャケットです。自然で素朴な表面に仕上げ、高いカーディング技術によって強弱があるネップの表情にコントロールしました。またオーガニック綿の粗野感を出すため脱脂とワッシャー加工のみで乾燥感のあるナチュラルな風合いにしています。デザインは1930年頃の野球選手やコミッショナーの間で流行ったボリュームのあるラペルに垂れたゴージライン(上襟と下襟の間にある縫い目)が印象的な2ボタンテーラードジャケットを丸みのあるクラシカルなシルエットで設計しました。ご祝儀袋が収まるサイズの山型の内ポケットやクラシカルな見返し仕立て、ベース型フラップポケットといった独自の意匠を加えました。
【再リリース】 This jacket is made using a woven fabric spun from organic cotton into nepped yarn in Japan. For the carding process to remove impurities from the cotton, we adjusted the machine settings to create a natural, rustic nepped yarn, preserving the roughness of the organic cotton and resulting in a dry, natural feel. The design features a rounded silhouette and takes inspiration from the traditional two-button tailored jackets with voluminous lapels and a hanging gorge line (the seam between the top and bottom collar) popular among baseball players and commissioners around 1930. We’ve added our own unique enhancements as well, such as a large cone-shaped inner pocket, a classic facing finish, and a base flap pocket.
