黒地に鐶(かん)を繋いで花弁を添えた大柄の菊花風の文様を鹿の子絞りで表し唐花入りの梅花を所々に散らした独特な意匠の帷子。鐶は金の輪の意で、環(たまき)を金属製にしたものを指す。箪笥などの抽手(ハンドル)をかたどったものとも言われている。
A hemp garment with a unique design of large chrysanthemum flowers with petals linked by kan in kanoko tie-dye on a black background, and plum blossoms, together with Chinese flowers strewn here and there. Kan refers to a gold ring...The idea of the rings is also said to have come from the pulls used on a chest of drawers.
