This listing is for BGS 9 MINT Graded Card of MESA ENCHANTRESS FOIL a RARE TIMESHIFTED Creature - Human Druid from the PLANAR CHAOS Release in 2007 Ultra low BGS Graded Card Population ( 1 of 1 in BGS 9 MINT ) with none higher ! BGS Edges Sub Grade of 9.5 GEM MINT? Gorgeous Original Vintage MTG ARTWORK by RANDY GALLEGOS MESA ENCHANTRESS PLANAR CHAOS TIMEHIFTED Cards/ Set information: PLANAR CHAOS represents an alternative version of MAGIC’S present ( at the time )…The conceit/concept is that several cards are color shifted ( direct reprints of cards changed to a different color/mana cost ) thus adding a different dimension to explore alternate deck construction and combinations … There were 45 cards out of the total of 165 from the PLANAR CHAOS Release that were TIMESHIFTED ( also known as Colorshifted or Planeshifted ) . They represent cards being reimagined from an alternate reality. Often with new Artwork, different mana costs and/or mana colors… They are each functionally identical to an OLDER MTG card often originating from the earliest Magic cards. These Cards can be identified by having both their TITLE NAME and TYPE ( Sorcery, Creature, Enchantment, etc … ) WRITTEN IN WHITE LETTERING instead of BLACK LETTERING like the other NON Timeshifted cards from this release … *See Actual Pictures of the Card MESA ENCHANTRESS is one of these cards ! The Earliest Vintage MTG FOILS are becoming increasingly scarce and harder to find in High Grade Condition and especially PROFESSIONALLY GRADED Card MINT or above versions ! More information about MTG FOILS below: FOIL CARD INFORMATION - With the Release of URZA’S LEGACY in 1999 Wizards Of The Coast introduced Foil Cards to MTG players and collectors alike through Booster Packs. The Foil cards appeared one every few packs (taking the place of another card) with RARE FOILS appearing one per booster box.
