Among Japanese whiskeys that are highly rated around the world, Venture Whiskey Chichibu Distillery is attracting attention from whiskey enthusiasts as a pioneer of "craft distilleries."
"Ichiro's Malt", named after the company's leader, Ichiro Hito, has now become a collector's item both in Japan and abroad.
This bottle is a single malt made with malt whiskey produced only from the same distillery. It is packed with the ``taste unique to Chichibu Distillery,'' which is not released except on special occasions and is not blended with other distilleries' unblended spirits.
Furthermore, this is a single cask bottling, with only one barrel (cask) selected and bottled from the unblended sake distilled at the same distillery in 2016.
The taste is aged for 7 years using American white oak bourbon barrels. Whiskey aged in bourbon barrels is characterized by a soft vanilla aroma, and is simple, making it easy to understand the individuality and characteristics of the distillery's original whiskey itself. In baseball, it's like a fastball.

A collaboration between the highly rare Ichiro's malt whiskey, of which there are only 228 bottles in the world, and TOHAKU Tea House has been realized.
TOHAKU Chakan is located on the grounds of the Tokyo National Museum. This Okyo-kan has paintings by Maruyama Okyo, an Edo period painter. Okyo Maruyama's representative painting, Morning Glory Dog Drawing Sugito (Sugito), which is owned by the Tokyo National Museum of Art, was specially used as the label for the whiskey.

同社を率いる肥土伊知郎氏の名にちなんだ”イチローズモルト”は、今や国内外でコレクターズアイテムとなっています。
こちらのボトルは、同蒸留所産のみのモルト原酒ウィスキーを使ったシングルモルト。特別な場合を除きリリースされない、他蒸留所の原酒とブレンドしていない、「秩父蒸留所だけの味わい」が詰まっています。
更には、同蒸留所で2016年に蒸留された原酒から1樽(カスク)だけを選定・瓶詰したシングルカスクボトリングです。
味わいは、アメリカンホワイトオーク製のバーボンバレルを熟成に使用して、7年熟成させたものとなっております。バーボンバレルで熟成されたウイスキーは柔らかいバニラ香などが特徴で、シンプルで、とても蒸溜所の原酒自体の個性や特徴がわかりやすいものとなっております。野球で言えば直球ストレート、という感じでしょうか。

東京国立博物館の敷地内にある応挙館がTOHAKU茶館です。この応挙館には、江戸時代の絵師、円山応挙の絵が描かれています。その円山応挙の代表する絵、東博所蔵の朝顔狗子図杉戸（あさがおくしずすぎと）が、特別にウィスキーのラベルとなりました。
