Bezel for Large Cent Young Head Type 1835-1857 This is a coin edge Sterling Silver Bezel to fit a 1835-1857 U.S. Large Cent Young Head Type. It will not fit the Coronet Type Large Cent as they are 28-29mm. The bezel has a screw across the top closure to insure the coin stays in securely. For hanging on your chain, it has a Sterling Silver soldered bail that will take up to a 5mm chain. A soldered bail has a smooth finish with no rough edges to snag your clothes or scratch the coin.This bezel fits a coin size 27.5mm x 2.3mm. Our 14K Gold-filled jewelry is stamped 14/20 GF. This means that it is 1/20th 14K Gold. During manufacturing the Gold is fused into the jewelry not just plated on.
